Strykersville Firefighters responded on 4/3/23 for a report of a garage fire on Holland Rd. with an automatic 2nd alarm dispatched.
Strykersville 5-0 reported a working fire enroute and requested mutual aid to the scene & then upgraded to the 3rd alarm mutual aid to the scene. Strykersville 5-0 went on location declaring a working fire in a 2 story 40 x 60 barn with fire encroaching the house. Command further ordered defensive operations and a collapse of the barn.
Sheldon, North Java, Arcade, Wyoming Correctional, & Holland responded as mutual aid to the scene. Harris Corners provided fill in.
