Bennington responded to a structure fire on Saturday January 2 at 1401 Hrs. on Clinton Street in the Town of Bennington.
Upon Arrival Chief Jim Dick encountered a fully involved attached garage extending into the house. Arriving units were able to stop the spread of the fire from involving the entire house. All occupants were able to exit the structure with one of them suffering burns to their hand. Several pets were also safe.
Mutual aid companies that responded included Cowlesville, Attica, Harris Corners, Sheldon, Darien, Alexander, Varysburg, Wyoming County Emergency Services, & Wyoming Correctional Facility.
The Red Cross was called in to assist the family.
