Sheldon Firefighters responded on 10/5/19 for a report of a barn fire on Bartz Rd. with an automatic 2nd alarm dispatched.
Sheldon 5-02 went on location reporting a large working barn fire & further reported the barn fully involved and ordered defensive operations. Command reported explosions at the scene and a 2nd barn involved and requested the 3rd alarm mutual aid to the scene.
Strykersville, North Java, Arcade, Bliss, Harris Corners, Wales Center, Bennington, Varysburg, & Wyoming Correctional responded as mutual aid to the scene. Attica, Bliss, Holland, Varysburg, & Cowlesville provided fill in companies.
