Internet Reacts To Palworld And Its Massive Success

Initially known as Pokemon with guns, Palworld has set the gaming world on fire by selling millions of copies in a matter of days and fueling internet discourse with AI art accusations. It’s even led to Arkane Lyon studio director Dinga Bakaba creating a fascinating thread on X (formerly known as Twitter) about the survival game, touching on its mechanics and lightning-rod aspects.

Bakaba, who was game director on Deathloop, notes upfront that Palworld isn’t actually a Pokemon-like and feels more mechanically inspired by Rust and Ark: Survival Evolved. He adds, though, that the title does obviously have similarities to Pokemon, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Fortnite, and more.

Invincible's Omni-Man Has His Butt Nerfed In New Fortnite Skin

With Invincible Season 2 releasing this month alongside Mortal Kombat 1 introducing Omni-Man to its roster of fighters, it seems more Invincible cameos are on the horizon. Fortnite’s next battle pass, expected in December, is said to also include the villain according to a recent leak, but fans have been quick to point out a flaw in Fortnite’s depiction of the comic book character.

According to some, Omni-Man’s Fortnite model has been nerfed. Specifically, his butt is much flatter in Fortnite than it is in the series and in Mortal Kombat 1. Twitter/X user DewEnjoyer did well to highlight the differences between Mortal Kombat 1’s Omni-Man character and Fortnite’s Omni-Man skin.

John Turturro Reveals Why Carmine Falcone Was Recast In The Penguin

Although Colin Farrell agreed to reprise his role as Oswald “Oz” Cobb in HBO’s The Penguin, the series was forced to recast the part of the late crime boss Carmine Falcone, as played by John Turturro in The Batman. Now, Turturro has suggested that he turned down the chance to return over objections to violence against women in The Penguin.

“I did what I wanted to with the role,” said Turturro during an interview with Variety. “In the show, there was a lot of violence towards women, and that’s not my thing.”

There was violence against women in The Batman as well, and Turturro’s Falcone was personally responsible for the murder of Annika Kosolov (Hana Hrzic), the best friend of Selina Kyle/Catwoman (Zoe Kravitz). Falcone even chokes Selina onscreen during one of their scenes together.

When asked about the film’s depiction of violence against women, Turturro responded that, “It happens off-screen. It’s scarier that way.” Annika’s murder does happen off-screen, but Fal…

Joker- Folie à Deux Actor Breaks His Silence About The Film's Twist Ending

As soon as Joker: Folie à Deux hit theaters earlier this month, the film’s ending immediately proved to be very divisive. That may have contributed to its disappointing $37 million opening, which was far below the $96.2 million that the first Joker had in its opening weekend in 2019. Now, one of the actors who appeared in that controversial conclusion is sharing his thoughts about the fate of Arthur Fleck and the Joker.

Warning: There are spoilers ahead for Joker: Folie à Deux. If you haven’t seen the movie or don’t want to know what happens, stop reading now.

Connor Storrie, an actor with only a few credits to his name, has a small role as a “young inmate.” But in the closing seconds of the film, Storrie’s character viciously attacks and murders Joaquin Phoenix’s Arthur Fleck before carving a Glasgow Smile on his own face and essentially taking Arthur’s Joker identity for himself.

During an interview with TMZ, Storrie revealed that he kept the s…

Lumines Remastered- Groove Is In The Heart

Seconds after I started up Challenge Mode in Lumines Remastered, Mondo Grosso’s “Shinin'” perked up and the energetic sounds of an acoustic guitar began to weave around a trance beat. I dropped my first block, and quickly cleared the first sparkling squares of the stage, triggering that familiar twinkle sound effect. Suddenly, it was like 2004 was yesterday, 10 stages were unlocked before I even knew 45 minutes had passed, and I realized just how much I missed Lumines.

It shouldn’t have been a surprise. Many of Tetsuya Mizuguchi’s music-based games dabble in synesthesia, the concept of associating one kind of sensory memory with another. In Mizuguchi’s games, it’s the persistent marriage of sound, sight, and even touch. Lumines isn’t as all-encompassing an experience as Rez or Child of Eden–though, in a nice touch, if you have the extra controllers, Lumines Remastered does include Rez’s Trance Vibration options–but the way that it plays havoc with your senses is ve…

Martin Scorsese Movie Killers Of The Flower Moon Runtime Revealed, And It's Very Long

The runtime for Oscar-winning director Martin Scorsese’s next movie, the highly anticipated historical drama Killers of the Flower Moon, has been confirmed.

Deadline reports that the final run time is 3 hours and 26 minutes. The movie opens at Cannes Film Festival in May before premiering in theaters in October and later streaming on Apple TV+. It is Scorsese’s second-longest movie ever, just under the 3 hours and 29 minutes of The Irishman, according to ScreenRant.

There has been a good amount of speculation around the movie’s runtime, but Deadline says it has the final word on the matter. The movie adapts David Grann’s celebrated 2017 book Killers of the Flower Moon: The Osage Murders and the Birth of the FBI.

The movie tells the story of the Reign of Terror in the 1920s when members of the Osage Nation were murdered one by one after huge deposits of oil were discovered under their land in Oklahoma. It also digs into the formation of the modern-day FBI un…
